There comes a moment when enough is enough. Not because everything around you has changed, but because something within you finally shifts. You get tired of rehearsing the same cycles, revisiting the same pain, and shrinking in spaces God never called you to stay small in. And in that moment, you hear it—not loud, not dramatic, but clear… “Get up.” This isn’t about rushing or pretending everything is okay. This is about responding to the call that’s been pulling on you for a while now. The call to rise beyond what hurt you. The call to stop identifying with what broke you. The call to move.
The truth is, you don’t need more time—you need more obedience. You’ve sat in it long enough. You’ve processed it, cried over it, tried to make sense of it, and maybe even tried to go back to what God already pulled you out of. But there is a grace on this season that won’t allow you to stay stuck. Not because God is being hard on you, but because He knows what’s ahead requires a version of you that refuses to stay down. And sometimes, getting up doesn’t look like a grand announcement. Sometimes it looks like making one right decision. Saying no where you used to say yes. Showing up when you feel like hiding. Choosing discipline over delay.
You are not waiting on confirmation—you already have it. If God showed you, spoke to you, or stirred something in you, that was your instruction. What keeps many women stuck is not a lack of clarity, it’s hesitation. It’s fear dressed up as “I just need a little more time.” But time is not your issue—agreement is. At some point, you have to agree with what God said about you more than what your feelings are trying to convince you of. Because your feelings will tell you you’re not ready, not qualified, not healed enough. But God never required perfection before movement—He required faith.
And let’s be real, getting up is uncomfortable. It means leaving behind versions of you that felt familiar. It means outgrowing environments, mindsets, and even people that once felt like home. It means stepping into spaces where you can’t rely on old habits to carry you. But discomfort is not a sign to retreat—it’s often confirmation that you’re finally moving in the right direction. Growth will stretch you. Purpose will require you. And the life God has for you will not meet you where you refuse to rise.
So girl… get up. Not in your own strength, but in the strength that God has already placed inside of you. Get up from disappointment. Get up from delay. Get up from fear. Get up from overthinking. Get up from the weight of trying to figure everything out before you move. You don’t need the full plan—you need the next step. And every step you take in obedience unlocks what’s been waiting on the other side of your yes.
You are stronger than you think, and God is not done with you yet.
